no its not on the road but it doesnt need much to get an mot its just i havnt realy got time to do it, to many other cars. ive got a few plans for it, everyone seems to think its totally stripped but its actualy only the carpet and seats realy, its still got electric windows, so maybe get rid of some more weight and maybe some more power if i can do it cheap, ive already killed 1 exedy clutch so need to find a better way round that, any suggestions?

Anything above the exedy clutch is quite expensive. Ive heard good things about the rps max street clutch but thats 350 quid at a rough estimate.

i think i need a paddle clutch to be honest, i was told by silvia engineering that the exedy one they sold me was good for 300 hp, not convinced. is it right u can fit an s13 clutch

The exedy clutch is an S13 clutch. So when SE said that you were buying an uprated S12 clutch, you were in fact just getting a standard S13 clutch.

so if i get a paddle clutch for an s13 i should be sorted then

If you like to slip your clutch on a launch then it might not be too suitable.

badboy 12-05-2007 20:40

i dont need to slip it anymore cos those mickey thompson tyres just grip, i just need a clutch thats gona do the job, ud think thatd b easy

30psi 12-05-2007 23:16

Well I'd have thought a budget paddle clutch would do the job then.
