i must of been lucky then, i had a second hand head off of the silviagod and din't have it skimmed, i did the last 10k on it with no probs.but i did have it checked for warpage before it went on.

i did think about getting the head skimmed but was a bit worried about the cr cos i think im pushing my luck as it is. perhaps il have buy a cometic gasket (1.6mm) and have the head skimmed, hopefuly that should last a while. im not sure what caused the gasket to go but it only lasted about 2 seconds and cut a 5mm slice out of the head, pos to much nitrous presure:)
