Bumming Shaun isn't really a relationship

adzs12 26-10-2006 14:38

You seem to mention bumming men alot, maybe you like the thought of it,i find that rather disturbing:confused:

Dunno Shaun just mentioned he wanted to get Clicky.

I think gay love is an awful thing, how one man can stick his dick up another mans arse is beyond me. Get covered in poo for starters.

But, back on the subject of ECU's, it seems silly not to share the info. At the very least all someone needs is a 28 pin socket chucked in the ECU, and the chip burner. Could start with a guessed chip, ie retarded timing at the top, then go from there. A Romulator would be required to make live changes, and these aren't too cheap.

The software to write the changes is out there, it just needs someone to see.

Does anyone have both mk1 and mk2 ECU to see if there are any differences between the 2 chip sets?

30psi 26-10-2006 14:45

Clearly you have problems reading Dr Ant

i can read excellently thanks, however seems you have a leaky memory!!
this is nothing to do with shaun.
this is about you not practising what you preach!
you encourage others to share info yet you keep your own findings secret it seems!

30psi 26-10-2006 14:54

Name a secret then?

adzs12 26-10-2006 14:58

You sound like your bumming danny:ghey

that should jog your memory:p

30psi 26-10-2006 15:02

Oh wow, go and read my PM's and you'll find out what it is.

When I picked up the said item, I thought of Datdrift, because in hindsight I thought 'damn i wish i had these when i have my coilovers', as they'd accompany the coilovers very well.

Anyway, my point was S13 Eater who said 'lets keep this to PM's', which is why isnt the info being made public????

adzs12 26-10-2006 15:05

Ding Ding round 8 :D

Dr Silvia 26-10-2006 15:10

you're just being paranoid mart, of course everyone's gonna know bout it:D

i just wasnt prepared to let you get away with that:p

you still expect me to reset your password and hack into your pm's to find out what it is though!!!:trout

30psi 26-10-2006 15:14

I aint paranoid. My original point still stands, and I can't see why it went on this stupid tangent?

I'm not interested in the benefit of the ecu. I won't even be using one.

Purely interested to understand more about it, so maybe it can benefit me elsewhere. For example my mates import SR20, has no known chips for it.

Dr Silvia 26-10-2006 15:17

i went on this tangent cos you were doing the same as you were moaning at shaun for!!!! being all secretive... how can you not see that:confused:
not having go or anything, just do as you would be done by:cool:

i'm going out now, can we leave this till later??=D

30psi 26-10-2006 15:23

No, you went on the tangent, took it personally with the 'secrets' thing. Which was uncalled for especially from a moderator.

Its like being at school here, its childish.

My original point still stands, which is that it needs to be kept public and not via pm's. It should now be on a new thread coz this one is now fubared. I didn't post up the screen prints and email the attachment etc for the topic to close. Here- http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=205778

I previously did some research on the ECU matter, and it would be good to see others continue it and share their findings.

EDIT Why is SXOC coming up as S***?

PukkaSilvia 26-10-2006 18:37

I think it would be a great idea if AMT could do some off the shelf chips, I could imagine only 2 universal chips would be needed. One with standard injectors and another with s13 injectors.

Dont you think it would be an idea if tomo fitted s13 injectors before the chip is done shaun? a t3 just isnt on the same wavelength at all as standard s12 injectors.

s13eater 26-10-2006 19:54

it been sold

s13eater 26-10-2006 20:06

to rpetterfor

30psi 26-10-2006 20:06

Defo use S13 injectors, you can change the injector value on the ecu so it automatically adjusts for the larger injectors

Dr Silvia 26-10-2006 22:47

omg mart what makes you think im taking any of this personally. i was merely pointing out a fact.

30psi 26-10-2006 23:00

You went on the bandwagon, which just added a load of pointless posts.

What gets me, and I've felt it here before, is that I spend time assisting people (probably one the most out of anyone) and I get kicked in the bollocks for it. Makes it a shame from my perspective to even bother with petty childish crap being brought up.

Now I'm actually going to advance this thread the next step, and would like to know what chip burner RickardK says he owns...

sideways danny 27-10-2006 11:33

Very ironic that this thread is about live mapping (ie custom) and it's turned into having "stage" chips made

PukkaSilvia 27-10-2006 18:30

Stage chips would help a lot of s12 owners who are on budgets. I think it would be awesome if they could be bought off the shelf. If not in chip form then in an ecu exchange basis.

Dr Silvia 27-10-2006 19:22

just because someone has made staged chips doesnt mean that live mapping wouldnt be available, staged chips would just be more convenient for people who live at great distance.

JackieFan 27-10-2006 20:35

What level of tuning would you need before you'd realsticly start to benefit from a re-mapped chip?

i think staged chips are a good idea also and would be a good start, especially if you can adapt the ecu to make them removable at any time anyway to allow for some live mapping at a later date which personally i would want,i think the s13 injectors with t28 would be a good chip as the standard injectors/ecu seem able to cope with t25@1 bar so i would of thought most people want the next step?

s12Rob 28-10-2006 13:03

wow what a thread, lol

whats the score with these chips then?

turbomike 28-10-2006 17:30

well im just about to have faggots an peas with mine mate:trout ;)

PukkaSilvia 28-10-2006 17:36

I may get a few with chienese takeaway in amo. Definately not having any faggots. :ghey

turbomike 29-10-2006 09:32

TOMO200 30-10-2006 21:23

im defo goin to change the injectors but cash is abit low so goin to have to wait for a week or so for them, i need to buy a boost controller as the t3 is kicking out too much boost

alundra 28-11-2006 01:01

Is this project still alive?
