on the turbo fj20 its over 200bhp std:1la , so 300bhp on a fj20 would just be a matter of upping the boost and altering the fueling to suit, so a few quid, don't have to waste a grand for 300bhp on a 16valve, even the ca18det will piss over 300bhp for a lot less money, i did spend lots on the 8valve to get big power over (300bhp), but i had the money to do it lol:p , well if you can call 300bhp big power, by todays standards its crap, baby bhp:trout, if i was spending anything over 4k these days, i would want around 700bhp, oh yeah i forgot, i am LOL. the det lump needs one hell of a fettle to reach 300bhp, there only 170bhp as standard... flywheel.

the intercooled fj20 in the skline dr30 runs nearly 220bhp std, because of better inlet and exhaust manifolds, and it gets this on around 7psi of boost, it also uaes a t3 as std, so around 80+ bhp is achievable with more boost, turn it up to 20psi should piss it.let alone changing the exhaust and filter, we all know how restricted the ca zorst is and the fj one int no better.plus the head flows a lot better than an evo one in stock form.

How will you get 700bhp on only 4k shaun?

4k, 6k, 8k, what ever it costs, i got a lot of bits like the turbo for cheap, for what andy at AMT payed for them, the t76 was only £770, you buy a turbo from for instance a t34 from burton power products would cost you around 1k, rods where expensive because they where custom made, plenum, i have done most of the fabrication, the exhaust, i did most the work on that, other than welding, i know that these tuners all have there suppliers overseas, and it dun't cost them half as much as they charge us:rolleyes: ,for instance, when tomei cams where available they where $1200 for both cams and both pullies, the price i was quoted from sumo power was £1250, about double the price, i think if i had to use one of the well known jap tuning companies, i would think it would have cost me double, i think it will cost around 6 or 7k in the end.but all worth it and hey, i ain't got anything else to do.;) i just hope to keep us s12 owners on the map.:D
