That`s a pain in the arse :( . The door should hopefully bend back into shape and the wiring shouldn`t be too bad. But bloody hell, that box looks a mess.

Any news yet from the police ?

Regards,
Ian.

Ian, not heard from the police yet, and they were supposed to have done it by Wednesday PM. If the g/box hadn't been shagged I'd have had the car locked away in my workshop by 1pm Thursday when they actually turned up.

So in the end had it transported to my home address later in the day (wallet another £40 lighter). Now sat outside covered in finger print dust.

If anyone local has a trailer or transporter I can borrow, or who can transport my motor to Wrexham I'd be much obliged.

Sounds like the police are as quick as usual then :( .

Sorry can`t help with the transporter situation. I know a guy in Rochdale that`s really cheap, but by the time he`s travelled over to you, it would work out too expensive. Best thing to do is to ring around a few companies, most of them will try to beat each other on price, so you may manage to haggle the costs down a little (that`s what I did when I needed my s12 moving down to the Unit) :D .

Regards,
Ian.

was pointed in the right direction bythe Ford Transit forum (Yes I have one, and yes I am a member :o )

http://www.recovery-owners-network.co.uk/

Found a guy on there that covers tha exact area I'm looking at. :D

I was lucky to get it shifted from St helens to Runcorn for £40 notes, TBH

It's good that people know people who know people who know people...

And a complete stranger at the recovery garage sorted that for me too, So big thanks to Steve at Bob Romes recovery centre :D

Cheers mate

Bidding on a box on the bay ends in just over an hour, then it's just a case of getting the car to the workshop to get it fitted.
Seller also has an exedy clutch. so may make an offer for that too. Kill two birds etc......
