this guy is bidding on his own listing. that other user kezhtn1 has bid on all his listing and past ones too. i know you desperatley need the box, but i would let him win his own auction and report him, and if he gives you second chance offer, knock him down a bit maybe.

you had enuf bad luck with out an ebay member shafting you too.

unless you are kezhtn1 :D

sorry only just saw the post, been done to me before so i always check.

Won it at 35,

should I mail him and tell him that I request ebay to do a ISP search on kezhtn1 based on other bids???

umpkin 07-03-2008 23:26

depends on whether you want the box for £35, if you report him the listing may get nuled, and he will disapear, or if your happy with £35 then you could report him after. or get his address first, then mention the cross check, and see if he still wants to deal.

zxocmars 07-03-2008 23:27

Before you piped in,

I'd be happy to pay £35 plus the £50 diesel in the van to go get it

Now I have doubts if the bid has been artificially enchanced.

Is there any way I can prove the other "user" is the same without going thru Ebay?

umpkin 07-03-2008 23:40

no, dont think so

if your happy with £35 then get the box, then report him so he cant do it anymore.

if you report him now, if hes found to be doing the wrong, the listing will be cancelled. afaik

it could be genuine, maybe im too worried bout being ripped off so i automatically check, maybe i should have not said anything, i know i would want to know.

are these boxes that rare???

zxocmars 07-03-2008 23:45

I've e-mailed ebay to request a "shilling" check

I will advise the seller if he asks for payment.

I'd rather wait longer, than be robbed by someone

it aint like I'm short of a motor at the moment. :)

zxocmars 07-03-2008 23:46

funny how the "shill" user just bought a CA18ET engine and paid immediately and received feedback within seconds. Hmm???

umpkin 07-03-2008 23:48

i just hope im wrong, and you get the box you need. like i said, you had enuf bad luck, you dont need anymore that can be avoided.

if the seller asks, you can always say cash on collection. dunno how quick ebay act on this sort of thing, i would hope quick as its important.
