heres tomo's cozzy 4x4 T3. i have made a bracket to hold the waste gate closed, i'll put pics of the adapted manifold up next week

The brackets a nice idea shaun. I just welded mine shut all around the gate inside the housing:) He should have some fun with that little beauty :cool:

modded stock manifold.

how difficult was it to get the cast iron manifold welded? i thought it was hard work to weld cast iron?

it was pre-heated then welded with special rods, nickle i think, i could be wrong.

Thats pretty good shaun. Well done. Nice to see new things being done on et parts. The location of the wastegate outlet isnt too bad either considering whats there to work with :cool:

how did you make the hole for the external wastegate?,did you burn it througth then round off the hole or something or use a holecutter
