poly bushes

here are the ones fitted to the rear of my mk2, 8 x spf 0903 arb link pin bush, 8mm id, universal, spf 1485/24k f arb to body bush, spf 0561k r trailing arm bush.

JackieFan 03-09-2006 18:46

Superb, thanks mate :)

JackieFan 18-09-2006 15:10

Just ordered up all the link pin an ARB bushes from Motor Sport World.

They didn't know what the SPF0561K's were. Also if they are like the SPF0562K's they come in a kit of two. I take it that that will only do one side?

Has anyone found poly subframe bushes?

datdrift 18-09-2006 15:31

the only place ive seen that do them is in america - http://www.mmr-direct.com/
otherwise is seems like the only options are standard replacements or getting someone to machine them up out of metal:(
i'm still trying to get someone to do me some metal ones.....

JackieFan 18-09-2006 15:50

Shame, I guess that the American guys don't ship to the UK!

Anyone got a sub frame bush that they can measure up do some photo/drawings of?

datdrift 18-09-2006 15:54

yeah they do ship to the uk, might have a minimum order amount tho? i was gonna order a few bits off them, but dident have the funds at the time:(

JackieFan 18-09-2006 15:56

How do your funds look now? I'd probably get a set if you want to split shipping?

I've asked them if they will ship to us, I'll let you know what they say.

datdrift 18-09-2006 15:58

yeah i could probably afford a set now:)

JackieFan 18-09-2006 16:09

Anyone else? (assuming that they come back to me witha positive answer!)

They are £37 from MMR... not sure if that's a set or each.... I hope it's a set!

30psi 18-09-2006 16:16

I have a spare rear subframe with good bushes if anyone is interested.

30psi 18-09-2006 17:01

s13eater 18-09-2006 17:43

mine are from superflex in england, they are 280zx and 300zx (z31) bushes, he should still have it down on computer what i orderd. they are all fitted on my mk2.i'll be doing the front end next.

JackieFan 18-09-2006 17:45

Bolt up fit? I heard something about you had to machine some sleeves for them to fit in?

datdrift 18-09-2006 18:03

this is my spare subframe, i think i'm gonna clean it up and have a go at slotting the trailing arm mounts, to get rid of some of the gay rear camber:)

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...t/IMG_1427.jpg

also if i'm gonna get those subframe bushes i think i might aswell get the diff one as well, and possiably the front tension rod bushes:rolleyes:

i only had to have the ones made up that martin has put up a pic of, mine are like martins, but have a smaller poly inserted, the rest of the subframe bushes,ie:trailing arm, anti roll bar and tie rod bushes are a straight fit.

JackieFan 19-09-2006 10:41

Cool, Cheers mate :)

JackieFan 19-09-2006 11:15

Still getting nothing out of MMR!

I'll give them a call a bit later

s13eater 19-09-2006 13:41

why don't you ring chris up @ superflex and deal with him direct.

JackieFan 19-09-2006 14:04

Coz I've never got him to answer :o

s13eater 19-09-2006 14:08

let the phone ring lol, i've just spoken to him 10 mins ago and forwarned him:D .he's going to match me as many as he can for the front and any i'am unsure of, he said i've to post them and he will try and match them up.;)i forgot to say, do not cut the metal outer sleave out of the trailing arms, you need these left in, so just burn the rubber out.

JackieFan 25-09-2006 11:24

Right, Finally got a reply out of MMR! They have said that they will ship two set's of sub frame mounts and two diff mounts for $33 so that's $16.50 a set.

a)Datdrift are you still up for getting some? I can sort out shipping when they get to the UK if you like? PM me

b)Does anyone else want any while I'm at it? I want to order them next Monday if I can.

Price is...

1x set of Sub frame Mounts = $ 70
1x Diff mount = $ 25
Shipping = $16.50

Total = $111.50 or £58.60 at current exchange rate

Let me know

datdrift 25-09-2006 12:17

s13eater 26-09-2006 16:38

i've ordered poly bushes for the front of the s12 today,8x10mm link pin bushes and 2x25mm universal anti roll bar D bushes, it seems like the 240/260/280zx, tie rod bushes will fit, i've sent him the lower arm as well, so that he can match bushes up to fit.
