T3 Conversion Done
The T3 conversion has been completed, the work done Buy S13Eater with a little help from myself:)
Also cozzie 4x4 intercooler on. It took about 3 days due to problems like the bulk head getting in the way of the front pipe which S13eater sorted with an angle grinder:D Car is just having the frontpipe welded up as i type this and the car should be on the rollers tomorrow to check the fuelling etc as advised by S13eater |

i predict 215bhp at the flywheel at 16psi......... ..
Anyone else fancy a guess? |
i'd say more like 220bhp at the fly
|
Has he got a decent exhaust system?
|
3 inch downpipe onto 2 /14 inch straight through.din't martins make about 237bhp with cam and headwork plus t3, mine made 229bhp on the t25.
|
my old t3 setup ran 225 at fly at 15psi fading off to 13 psi for some shit reason. I didnt realise he had done the exhaust. It should be pretty good then
|
what was the fuel like on the stock ecu ?and where did the boost come in ?, what about your t3 martin, what rpm did that come in at?
|
Quote:
Martins boost came in with a big kick at about 4,5k |
Yeah about 4-4.5, definitely not below.
I got 215bhp at the wheels on a known accurate dyno. I think it will make about 200 at the wheels most. I only have a 2 1/4" exhaust. My max power was at 6,100rpm, Toms will be closer to 5,500rpm. It may have the same torque, but lower in the rev range and therefore a little less power. Depends on the dyno though. Its been seen to be a pretty subjective test where results vary alot. |
