what is the s12 geared for and will the s13 diff alter the gearing, what would mine be capable of at 6800rpm with 340bhp on 225/45/17's,come on martin this ones for you, serious answers though people.

The S13 diff doesn't alter the gearing.

Providing an engine can pull to 6.8k in 5th with 225/45/17's the top speed will be:

what have you had yours to in fith martin rpm.

I haven't tried taking it past 6000rpm, which is about 147mph in my car.

I let Adam have ago, and I'm sure the pisstaking bastard took it past 6, I had to tell him to let off.

i know that ken did a 137mph at elvington, not sure of his bhp at the time, he got about 2mph more than alan spensley who has a rb25 with exhaust and filter, i just wanted to give it a run before i take the engine out for good.:)

To get to the top speed of a car it prob takes a minute to build up its last 10mph.

Thats quite a distance, so i imagine he didnt hit top speed

how do you work that top end of 172 mph out...???

intresting to see what a s13 lump pushing 350bhp + 50 (75 poss) shot of nos will achive, standard gear box & diff (uprated clutch & lighten fly)...

o, and it pull 7.2k in 5th & has 2154017's on the rear...:D

:confused: I'm talking about you driving it in 5th gear numpty:trout, when you drove it you took it just past 6k in 5th. In any other gear it has to be taken to 6.5k without a doubt (and you did). It leans off after 6, thats why I got ya to let off.:p

172mph was worked out using the gear ratios etc.

7.2k on 215/40/17 would be 174mph providing it could pull to that rpm in 5th.

your SE rear spoiler will be robbing you off mph`s at top end

i'am gonna make the top of the wing detachable.

any idea with th fj or rb25 box in.

i have had 145 in most of my et powered s12s running approx 225bhp or more.(this is with 17" wheels so bear in mind with the speed reading)

I blew a hole in a piston of my t3 blowered s12 when i took it to 140 then started slowing down. I believe the std Fuel pump could not supply enough fuel.

My det is going well. i get around 75mph in second gear as the rpm limiter is at 7k .once the limiter is increased i should see 80-85.This should be a more accurate reading as i have 15" wheels now ;)

When i spoke to Den at trax last year (det s12) he said he had gone into the 170mph+ area that day (private road obviously :D )

Shawn is correct i did kick some skyline arse that day, allan could only manage 133 on the 1.25 mile stretch and i did 137.9( with a fooked motor aswell) and i rubbed his nose in it by holding my ticket infront of him as he was talking to one of his skyline buddies :D :D

I reckon shawn , the power you'll have out of the beast will pull the limiter in fifth.
I have seen the the end of the 150 mph on my private test track of coarse,
have a speedo shot somewhere will scan it , that will make everybody smile.:)
With the correct conditions, i reckon its possible.

i will do martin,yep ken i'am wanting some gearing that will take me over 200mph:D , maybe there's a gear kit for the rb25 box:)

My pal alex has just got his gts skyline at lastand it is running an rb25 mototr in that so i will see what i can find out for ya mate ,

yep av a good un ken,something has cropped up so i don't know weather i'am going to break the s12 or not, if so what would the engine be worth without maniflds, you all must know the spec by now, its got to be worth 1200 quid, piper cam, 400 quid i payed for the head porting, je forged pistons, mig wired block, 200sx rods and squirt jets, billet ajustable vernier, lightened and ballanced flywheel,obviousley injectors, billet fuel rail, inlet plenum, top mount exhaust manifold, turbo, wastegate would be sold seperate, oh and theres the omex, 3 inch full stainless exhaust proper stainless as well, filter, ally rad, costom intercooler and fully rebuilt subframe with lsd and full poly bushes and new bearings,brand new kyb's and uprated springs, bonnet, good wings and doors, full bodykit if someone can get it off, i need to raise about 3k:trout

health reasons mart, i can't seem to get anything done, i need to pay to go in the tunnel, plus if owts found, i dont want stell to be left with a car thats no use to her, things are getting bad, i was fetching blood up last week, piss won't come out right, stomach keeps blowing up and i keep forgetting things then raging and having violent thoughts, i think i'am going nuts, i had i fight with a bloke when i was 14 and got hit around the head with a pickaxe handle, i was never right after that, i go a bit dizzy when i'am about to rage then i can't remember doing anything:confused: i can be happy one minute then crazy the next,don't think i'am safe.:(
