Hey guy's n girl's
Just brought an s12 Silvia to for £600 didn't relize they existed till I stumbbled across this one... then I was hooked on her retro look, rear wheel driven turbo'd engine and the fact it was a Nissan. She came with the original wheels but currently running on so semi deep dishes look pretty good, is in a nice shiny red colour (barely any fading & paint work is very tidy) comes from an old boy who has looked after with respect & apperantly never ragged or drifted her, comes with a lot of spares (turbo, starter motor, filters etc) she has only done 67,000 miles & has a nice history, so looking foreward to my ownership. She is my second car I own at the mo, currently drivng a Nissan 100NX, the Silvia will be sitting on my drive for the next 6 month's while I hopefully transform her into an even bigger beauty...
most of all can't wait to start modding her!! so hello to all from James. |
Welcome aboard mate:)
All the info you need for reccomended mods and fault diagnosis etc is on the forum so you will pretty much always get an answer to what ever the question maybe. Post some pics up if you can and also any ideas on what mods your going to do first? |
i saw a red mk2 down there a few years ago.

Welcome to the club. Hope everything goes well with the car

Pic of the Silvia when I pick her up.

its a MK2 being F reg but its got a bumper / grill and marker lights from a MK1
looks quite clean tho |
yeah that is strange having that front end. does it look like it has had a front ender or a respray in the past?
Does look nice though. I like the overall look with those wheels:cool: there similar to ken finns wheels |
Welcome to the S12oc :)
She looks a minter. The Mk1 bonnet, grill, etc. is unusual on an F reg. Perhaps someone preferred the look of the Mk1. I know Wacom prefers Mk1 bumpers, etc. as he bought one off me to put on a Mk2. Look forward to seein your progress with her :) |
That's looks REALLY tidy, got any more photos?
Welcome to the Club |

Welcome Matey, as pukka says they are like mine, good wheels i have found .Nice deep dish aswell.:D :D

Thanks guys, yer really pleased with her for the money, as you say she is very tidy gonna be tiding her up even more & modding her a bit, she is & will be up my drive for the next few month's but once she is sorted out & tuned up a little will post some more pics! To be honest since i was told bout it being the mk1 front I had a good look & seems to be a very tidy job, no differnence in the paint, no sign of gaps or fixxings on the front.
Sorry for the stupid question but could someone point out the differences between the mk1 & mk fronts for me:confused: ? |
about three inches :)
Mk1 bumper is deeper (as is the rear!) |
