771bhp r33

feck me, i was took out in a r33 tonite, head was done by andy at AMT and also supplied the tomei cams etc, ron kiddel at rk put it together, its only running 26psi and 7300rpm, when i got out my legs where shacking like i'd done a long feckin run, it was scary at 150 mph in the dark, down country lanes, its got the quaife sinquential box, the guy has spent a fortune on it, he can feckin drive as well, this is me still 3 hours later:D .the wheels spun up at 150mph, he said they spun at 160mph on the byepass

that sounds cool, even if it was 4wd (not a fan...) but with that sort of power i suppose its ideal on the road. Yours is gonna be fecking mad tho Shaun:D
what was the quaife like? noisy? id love to have a go with one

s13eater 27-02-2007 12:34

the box is noisey:cool: , the whole car is feckin insane, best buzz i've had in a long time.:)

s13eater 16-04-2008 13:40

this car has just put in a dyno run of 806 bhp and over 700 lbs/ft on pump fuel.

old-and-rusty 16-04-2008 20:30

Sounds the mutts nutts  .

Just imagine the power output on race fuel....scary  .

Regards,
Ian.

i got it wrong, its 816 bhp @ 2 bar boost :) .

old-and-rusty 17-04-2008 10:23

Bloody hell, that`s some power output :D .

I remember seeing a piccy in a magazine once, of a 1000bhp skyline. The car was doing a burnout on the A1 at 4 in the morning. On the photo the car was tiny, the rest of the frame was filled with tyre smoke  .

Ian.

that would of been top secrets gold r33, mr nagata (tightening his nuts):D

old-and-rusty 18-04-2008 12:26

Aye that`s the one. If I remember right, it was running four fuel pumps or something daft like that  .

Didn`t they have a Supra as well with a similar power output ?

Regards,
Ian.

s13eater 18-04-2008 13:15

yeah they did, i've been looking at the fuelab prodigy single pumps for mine, i really can't afford twin pumps and all the expensive connections this year, i just want to crack on with it and get it up and running ,the one i'am looking at flows 105 gph at 45psi, good enough for 1000bhp with dash 10 fuel lines, they have some good reports and you can run most fuels through them.

old-and-rusty 18-04-2008 17:42

Do you mean something like this :

http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...&cat=1561&page=

I see they do a price match deal there too. But there is always the dreaded import duty  .

That`s the thing though with highly modded motors, you seem to be constantly, upgrading and spending more once the car is running. All part of the fun though ;) .

Regards,
Ian.

s13eater 18-04-2008 17:47

yeah thats the site i was looking at mate.:)

old-and-rusty 18-04-2008 17:52

Great minds think alike !!!

Or is it fools never differ....LOL... :p .

A lot of the American and Aussie sites do seem to be cheaper than us and if you get lucky and don`t get stung for duty you`re onto a winner.
I`ve been looking at an Aussie site for CP forged pistons for the det, they are about a third of the cost of some of the UK sites :( .

Regards,
Ian.
