s12 to bluebird

wat parts from an s12 could i transfer over to a blue bird, for example engine swop, or the front end from the s12?

datdrift 23-03-2007 15:02

what type of bluebird?? 910/t72/u11, etc

northerner 23-03-2007 21:02

Engine wise only the bottom end as the Dizzy in the head comes out of the end so would hit the bulkhead. TBH why would you want to swop stuff over?

s13eater 23-03-2007 21:13

mate don't ruin a s12

PukkaSilvia 23-03-2007 22:47

Try to get a 910 bluebird, they're rear wheel drive which will be better for putting the power down.

PukkaSilvia 24-03-2007 18:59

910s look like old mercedes. Proper delboy Arther Daily style

been speaking to a mate at mine who is very handy fabricating and welding, so we gonna put the front end of the slvia on the bluebird saloon, and have a goo at weling a new trasmisson tunnel, then find a suitable gear box and drive shaft etc, the silbird will rock!

30psi 25-03-2007 23:35

It will be a lot of work.

Would be alot easier for you by getting an earlier bluebird which is already rear wheel drive

JackieFan 26-03-2007 10:59
