I was gonna buy an LM1, but from looking at one decided it was too large. So I opted for one that contained it all with in a 52mm gauge. |

Cheers Martin your a star, Lm1 is fab would advise anyone to spend the money . When i got it i bought the analogue gauge aswell for if ever i take the biggun out of the car.

Nice shiney paint jobby! Any pics of the motor ?
|
 ken nice and retro mate.:)
|
How has that interior colour been added to the seats and door cards?
Its nice. I think it could look good with some writing down the side like the two tone rsx has as standard. Hows the turbo situation going? |
nice eg of a mk2 there
|
Cheers
Thanks for that guys, Jon the material was bought for 15 quid and then i stripped the door cards to bits to re-trim them and the seat covers had to be stripped and the material sown over the top of the old seat centres etc then stiched back together fooking nightmare.looks well though.:D
the big turbo has now had a full u.k re-furb and is for sale for 350 ish, cost me over that but just want to get rid as going in a differnt direction now , happy with the power i have got .I have put another t3 on it for time being and cleaned the manifold up inside so should be o.k for now .:) :) Pics of the motor to follow just doing bits and bobs under there at the mo..;) |
Nice and Low
HI ,
Car looks nice and low - I agree that some drift style decals may look good on it. Stephanie http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...266/4f14_1.jpg |
Front suspension bits and bobs
Well as i am off work i thought i might aswell get started on the front end
s13 hubs and brakes( drilled and grooved discs with good pads) s13 struts with lowering springs s13 bottom arms Camber top mounts aswell will keep you guys up to date. :) :) |
I heard that coz the S13 springs are wider they won't fit into the S12 towers.
Have you had this issue? |
Front suspension bits and bobs
Will tell you as soon as i start, they are a bit wider ?

My motor
Cheers Den , I reckon as pukka once said i will probs never get rid of it i worked it out the other day and i reckon i have had this one for about 7 years, lol :D :D
maybe even longer fookin hell eh. :D :D |
looks great, love the rear of it, how did you do the lights? they look well
|
Rear lights
Quite easy mate really and cheers for the comments, i got two stainless tubes made for each side then cut two holes per side, slid the tubes into the holes then put the lights in from behind and secured them in .I then fibreglassed and fillered each side, a very good coating of spray filler then two pack primer then top coat.
The only thing i would do different if i was doing it again, i would make it so i did not have to slightly trim the rear panel to get them in . A lesson learned i reckon. They dont weigh too much either which is good.:) :) |
you comming to JAE this year with it..
|
|
:) thanks man really appreciate the pics:)
|
Spot on shaun
lol Just like that but done forget to seal the front a bit better than i did so they dont crack round the edges, You can fill it with paint like but still looks o.k and my light units were 2.99 each front a wagon lol.
Shaun good idea with the insulation foam i used that on the side skirts underneath.:D :D |
