SE Fibreglass Spoiler help??

Just after some advice on how people attached their se silvia spoilers on, as i worrying that without the right fixings & any sort of rubber seal it may put to much pressure & no roomfor a little bit of play on the spoiler causing it to crack, or have people just bolted it on & had no probs?

Also does anyone know what thread the s12 wheel studs have?

tiger seal mate, it took me 1 week to get my se spoiler off, and stayed on at over 150mph for 3 miles :D

:( mine doesn't do 150mph! feckin auto diff! accelerates like fook though:1la

mines just bolted on! long bolts and just wound em up hoping for the best! it ain't cracked yet and its caught quite a few kerbs lol

Ha think your talking bout a different spoiler, im talking bout the one on my bootlid, didn't relie the auto diff slows you down!!

umpkin 15-11-2007 19:59

i have my boot spoiler held on with semi structural body sealant, and 3 countersunk screws each side, with little plastic caps on like you have on your MFI chest of draws :D

yeah the lower ratio gives lower gears so better acceleration and less top end! throws the speedo out alot too!
my fibre rear spoiler was held on with tiger seal but i have a bad habit of sitting on my cars so it started pulling off:trout ! big bolts counter sunk then filled over has fixed it! not pretty but works good enough for me!:D
