Once in the hands of moi and co and thanks to jon for supplying the doors and wings at a fair price shes starting to take shape as me and brad worked like trojans today to get her on the way to being another tasty edition to the club;)

Got to dark to take any more pictures but we managed to get both doors and wings on and it all lines up a treat:D Will post more pictures tomorow, Least now theres straight panels for when its painted:cool:

LOL! yea we did work pretty hard, although adz was moanin like a ho bout some head ache :ghey in which i followed "deal with it.." :D :1la both very chuffed with results, thanks to jon for the parts and all his support to the new project. but most of all thanks to adz for all his help through the past coupla weeks. hes infact been pro for helpin with everything! keep up the good work dude. pictures look awesome, and we shall keep the post updated so u can all have a look at the progress we make.

Silvia Update.
 

Hey guys havent had time to post in a while so ill drop a line now.

Just insured my Silvia today, Passed MOT bout 2 weeks ago. Tis all looking good! :D It is being taxed in the morning too, so all 100% legal in the morning.

The car is coming together nicely now, Me Adz And Jon, Fitted a straight through, exhaust system on it last nite in the freezing cold with minimal light :trout (pretty stupid but hey? has to be done!!! lol :rolleyes: )

It is still currently multicoloured Heh but is going satin black on saturday for that old aggressive look. Oh and we also fitted a new bonnet with astra gsi vents, looks nice too.

More pictures soon,

and most of all more mods!

Springs, Turbo, IC + RAD conversion, New fans, spoiler, and front splitter all to come in the next 2 weeks or so.

Hey where did you guys get the exhaust from? Is there somewhere which already knows the shape required?

The exhaust came from pukkas mk2 mate.

All the exhausts are custom made, what style are you looking for?

2.5" stainless steel, nothing too huge or noisy..

Well a backbox is your own preference, you can get anybox of your choice to fit and can even do that yourself with the right equipment;)

However i and most would recomend that yes you go for a 2 1/2 inch stainless system. This seems the most popular size from who and what i know;)

Your gunna have to make some enquiries and find the nearest place to you who will make you one, and expect to pay between 300-400 notes for a good job;)

Brads car was painted today, i only have the before pics and im sure he will post the after pics asap as it looks all good:D

yep, we got i got it finished with him at around 7pm. It looks great and your masking up and prepping was perfect. No overspray etc :)

Yea the preparation was spot on. spent most of the day prepin it all for sprayin infact it didnt really take up much time actually spraying the thing.

There are small areas that need to be touched up, but it is looking bout a million times better. Of course you cant expect a prep, then respray, all in one day to be 100% perfect.. although ill say it near enough is.

I also took the spoiler that pukka used to have on his mk2 off his old tailgate, which took about 2 hours.. MISSIONS! :eek: but was well worth it. Couple of scratches which is to be expected, as im not a qualified bodyworksman but im gonna spend the next couple of days with the old filler and wet and dry, just making sure its all perfect.

unfortunately I have no after pics atm, but i will try and get some of the car with the new paint, and the spoiler removal tomoro morning.

Me and brad fitted the spoiler on tuesday as he preped and painted it on monday evening. It looks sweet now all 4 of us have them:D Roll on the summer and shows etc;)

Are you fitting a SE type spoiler? or somethgin else?

We fitted an se spoiler to go with the se front splitter, that needs fitting. Pics will come soon....
