So it made 298bhp at just under 1.4 bar of boost?

not bad. Powerstation reads quite high. 185 on our dyno was 206 on theirs. Is he using proper management yet?

no he's on one of those afc things, powerstation are trying to talk him into a motec, well i think they have convinced him, well over priced for what he needs, they quoted him £1600 and i bet mapping is on top,i'd put a cheap omex on, we must still have the map, then just a bit of trimming up, i think the drag is a bit high at about 70bhp, every rollin rd i went on was about 35 to 40 bhp loss on the transmission.

I went on a raised single roller and got 215bhp at the wheels and 237bhp at the flywheel.

His wheel power is as I would have expected tbh, but the corrected power seems a bit too much.

I'd put omex on too (funnily enough ;) )

Shaun, I still have the same jobs to do. Put the turbo on without any gaskets leaking, radiator (need an ali one), power steering rack and pump needs to go on, battery to the boot, and a right good service and going over.

thats sweet comming from an 8 valve.. what mods are on there..?

+ the power loss through the wheels is a bit suss...? you should only lose about 35 -40bhp
