Ohayo! XD Well yeah, story is pretty much I thought i'd join up as I'm currently on the look out for an S12 to buy. Currently drive a EP91 starlet (non glanza) and with the UKSC (UK Starlet Club) Main reason for that was was my first car and needed something small and stuff to start off in so insurance didn't kill me heh. Also.. needed to be japanese : ) But yeah... Now i'm coming up close to almost driving a year, I've been wanting an S12 for about 3 months now and after a few calls today I found out I could get a quote for one for under 2 grand! So was very happy with that. Rang Adrian Flux and they told me that I had to be over 22 but a few checks with Northern Irish insurance companies sorted me out. So yeah... I've joined thinking this would be the best place to go to purchase an S12 or find one, and also get some advice if anyone feels I need some.

£2,000 ?? for a years insurance ? Christ man I wouldn't bother. No car is worth that.

Aye I know but considering I pay £1100 now for a 1.3 sportif starlet you know it's unreal I can get a 1.8 turbo S12 for only £700 more!

If he lived in Ireland he would pay 5000 a year:confused:

Aye I have no idea why England is cheaper for insurance but like I was so so shocked and glad that I got quoted on one and for under 2 grand that is unreal while still on my R plates. That's why im even more fixed on getting an S12 than before!

XD Aye definitely, bit of light banter to break the ice a bit. Yeah I'd be happy with any advice mate cause firstly this will be first turbo car and more than likely there may be a few things wrong with it upon purcahse which I won't have a clue about but it's good to have someone in the country who knows a bit. But yeah, it's good to be welcomed! : )
