apexi safc
 

sup, dose anyone know the pin settings for the apexi safc?
the back has 2 items to set :- type select and car select...
type select has a set of 7 switches, up down selection.
car select has a-f, 0-9 around the little dial.
bought it from e bay and the instructions supplyed are for subaru and mazda..

sup, it's a ca18et...i've read the other threads and found nothing definate for setting the back of the unit up.
some help would be cool guys...

thanx pukka will do. have checked the apexi site and the manuals are for newer types...mine is the 5 dial thing.

and power fc

can't find a match with mine on the apexi site bud,
the serial no on mine is, safc 9712-0676.
and is a super AFC small 100x150 box with 5 pop out dials for tuning no screen...

I have one of these ready to fit also, I have 2 PDF manuals that I sourced on the internet, if you pm me your email I'll forward them on:D

Before i rip her guts out looking can you guys tell me were the ecu is situated?
oh, also i managed to get a z31 throttle body and maf (jecs) what i'm wondering is it worth using the maf its much bigger? about 70mm, if so i have an issue with the maf plugs silvia has a 4 pin and the z 31 has a 6 pin plug, would this be for the extra bank on a v6?]
could do with the pinout for that if anyone knows??

sup, fitted the super afc before... took all of 15 mins very easy to do using the pinout N8 on the instructions for ecu and settings for ca18de. adjustment works on the tick over rpm ok so i guess it works :D thankx to all who helped.
