spotted M6 sunday evening

whos was the E plated silvia, turquoisy bluey flip painted s12 hading along M6 northbound early evening last night? dont worry ya didnt cut me up, just sounded sweet as it went past at about 90 (i was in my van towing my car and trailer:( . Very shiny paint and bodykit:)

s13eater 24-07-2006 13:42

that would have been japster (den).

CNHSS1 24-07-2006 15:15

Ah, Japster isnt that running some big power too?

wacomuk 24-07-2006 17:09

yep around 500 bhp

CNHSS1 24-07-2006 17:47

respect:cool:

PukkaSilvia 24-07-2006 18:47

Yep definatly Den And shes now back up on power. She was only down due to air in the clutch and the air filter was too small and old. At 25 psi-30psi a duff air filter was killing extortionate amounts of power.Im sure he will be on with an update :)

LOL! - Ironically, I pointed out that spankingly good Reliant on the trailer to my missus - Thought it might be yourself afterwards! - Really glad you liked the car matey :D - She was running great after Pukka and S13Eater got on the case for me! :D - Absolute pair of ... erm.. stars! - Cheers guys - Owe you some beers!

PS - Pukka? - Did Dayglo Hitler get you? - He was radioing in that you and Dunc were "Wheelspinning" off the grass! - It was highly entertaining seeing him melt his lard running back and forth trying to apprehend the various badboyz who were leaving! - Lol!

PS - The only reason it was shiny for a change is 'cause it had been 'Tash'd... lol! :D - Cheers 'Tash!

Seriously, i was so p*ssed off with the clutch that I'd not even driven it or cleaned it since Rockingham!

Must have been another car on a trailer you saw lol.
some cars are designed by computer, built by robots, driven by you.
SS1s are designed by Ray Charles guide dog, built by 3 elbowed Tamworth midgets, driven by the unhinged!

Defo shiny, top marks!
Ive met Shaun, top fella, gonna get him to bend my next roll cage around his neck like Geoff Capes on superstars!

Is yours still an ET?

s13eater 25-07-2006 15:22

its a det craig, ya dont think i'd let him have that much more power than me if i had the same engine do ya lol:D ;)

CNHSS1 25-07-2006 15:37

fair point big guy:D
was wondering how hed get a big enough windmill sized turbo under the bonnet for 500+bhp with an ET. Have to be something off a wind farm i reckon!

 nice.

Nope day glow hitler didnt say anything. It was only a lil wheelspin,I got slapped by claire on the leg as i did it to stop.So thanks to her we didnt get caught. The civic lot were all casught on the gate and i think there club is now bad named for next year.
:)

Speak to ITG Den when you next need a filter and they will custom make you one as i think even the one you have just got may be a tad too small. Glad its improved now though.

s13eater 26-07-2006 11:37

i though it may be a tad small to start with, but we looked at RK'S filter on the skyline and it was exactly the same size, those mesh filters flow lots of air and i've run one for the last 5 years, theres been no problems with them, they seem to filter ok.

PukkaSilvia 26-07-2006 18:22

excellent

lol! - She's a good 'un... :D

Yep - Filter was good (even though it came clean off the mount! - i.e. fell apart from the heat my engine produces... :D - Had an exhaust maker bond it with some kind of liqud silicon heat resistant glue, so shouldn't do it again).

Car's running well now after you guys helped me out! - but still down on boost :( - Simon's going to check for leask, and test/map it up for more boost tomorrow, so it'll be like christmas again... :D woohoo!

Getting that mega-f*ckoff BOV fitted tomorrow too - Simon's going to put a boss in for me... :D

...Oh yeah - was well worth taking a day off work for!

s13eater 27-07-2006 13:43

yep den let us know how it goes tomorrow, hope it goes ok, i think i should look into finding a better design plenum and bigger throttle body for you, has anyone got a donor det manifold that i could have for cheap, i could try and design a big chamber with ram pipes in, ;)
