My cars coming off the road soon

Thought i would let you know that my cars coming off the road long term in a months time. It needs a full ground up rebuild and respray with the engine out. The engine is also a bag of shit with the manifold blowing so i was going to do a strip down check and rebuild on that also. The cars a wreck so i cant continue doing 2000 miles a month in it flat out,

Im buying another car in a month and am toying with the idea of a mk3 golf vr6 as i took one round the Nordschleife at Nurburgring and there pretty good on coilovers.:). I only trust jap or german cars. I also hadnt even thought about getting one until it got suggested to me by someone earlier and looked up how dirt cheap they are

a 2.8ltr engine in a golf seems like a good idea to me :p

Im looking forward to rebuilding the s12 though and having it as a weekend type car. It will mean i can get all those jobs that take more than a day to do done easily

Oh Dear

HI Pukka,

Good idea buying German but not FWD, you will be bored within weeks....

I bought a Porsche 911 recently as my second car and its much more fun - especially sideways !!
