I've got one on mine...... it's awful! It was on the car when I brought it, looks like an after thought and has since fallen off! Quality! Probably more to do with how it was fitted but either way it's not brilliant. I haven't got any decent gauges on mine so I couldn't tell if it was working as it should or not.... my guess is not.

If you're looking at getting a new one then some of the other guys here will probably be able to recommend something to you :)

had one of these type of bov on mine and mates got one on his r5, work fine, mine needed at least 10psi to actually blow off, standard boost did nothing

I think you could snease in the cockpit of mine and the change in pressure would set the dump valve off!

Ive got one of these. With bigger turbos and more boost they handle the job a lot better than the typical ´bailey´. It sounds great and maintains turbo spool a lot better on gearchange than my old bailey

I took mine apart and refitted it. Seems loads better, little bit laggy between shifts but loads better, I still don't like the way it mounts.... grub screws can't be the best way to do it!

i had a bit of ally that welded to the intake pipe and then joined that to the dump valve with silicon hose. im guessing you did not get that bit of tube and the lower bit of the dump valve is just welded instead, meaning that now you have to take the valve apart to remove it. :(

It was already on the car when I got it so I don't really know what's missing, the repair job seems to have done the trick for now. I've got hold of a HKS SSQ (or what ever it's called) from an S14 that's been upgraded. I'll just put that on if the old one comes free again :o

ollymk1escort, did you end up getting the BOV in question?
