Alternative backbox
 

As mentioned before the backbox on my S12 was made out of putty! How's this for a cheep alternative to replacing it! :D Excuse the poor quality I only had my phone on me at the time ;)

Bet its loud without the silencer box on it:D

Not as much as you'd think, I was quite surprised! I'm going to put a noise tester on it over the weekend but it's probably under 100db :cool:

It needs an MOT soon so I'll keep my fingers crossed! :o

No, because it doesn't have a backbox.

MOT regulations require silencers.

EDIT - Bit vague there sorry. They check the overall condition of the systems, major leaks, if anything is missing and check the effectiveness of the exhaust to ana average level

I'm hoping to convince them that the one in the centre section is adequate. It's up to the MOT tester to decide if the car is excessively loud or not and it's really not that bad!

Well at least the centre is there, its prob not too bad then

If it get's through an MOT it'll be a bargain! The whole lot (not including shipping) cost £40! :D Took less than half an hour to fit too!
