Clutch
 

Hello all, my clutch nearly failed last night on the Leeds inner ring road, i got stuck in first gear for a while :eek: .. lucky for me mr nissan put an 11mm spanner in the tookit so i could top up with some water and bleed the air out and get home. I presume it's the seals on the slave cylinder ??. Do any of you good people know where to get either new seals or a slave cylinder as cheap as possible. Thanks :)

you do realise the clutch uses brake fluid and not water don't you? PMSL that's going to be horrible to get flushed through.

you can get a new slave cylinder for about £20. an s13 one will fit as will s14

Thanks sideways... yes I do realise they use brakefluid but it's not always easy to get hold of at 9pm in Leeds and the drop of water I put in got me going again :D .Can anyone else confirmn the s14 slave fits as I can get one of those quite cheap.
