I bought Northerners Silvia

Howdy

I bought Northerners car as a change from my Bluebird turbo. I had the bluebird turbo for 3 years and its time for a change.

Im an admin over on the zxoc and have been into the older Nissans for far too long ;) and hope to keep it that way.

Theres a few bits I'd like to do to the car, thankfully Steve has kept all the mechanical bits in excelent conditon but the rust monster never sleeps.

Therefore I will be taking her along to my local body shop (the owner of which loves his older 80s cars) to get quotes for fixing the roof line rust, and possibly the wings as well.

I'd also like to either purchase ad aftermarket ECU, or the kit to repam the stock one. This is something I was begining to look at on the bluebird, but think its even more essential on this car and the turbo and AFM have been swapped for different items. During the mapping if required a better fuel pump and fith injector maybe setup. Handily the inlet manifold already has 2 intectors in it spare.

Id like to find some replacement door cards as well as these have split, but then this is a common fault and right now not that high on my list.

Hope ot see you all at some events in 2007.

cool, the day before the MOT is due as well  might pop along, not sure yet and as always it will depend on the weather. Cold wet car parks are no fun.

Locked diff, cold, wet, deserted car park sounds like fun to me;)
