ca18det swap
 

Hey,

I was thinking is this a straight forward swap, i have the full engine and the gearbox. The original engine was an FJ20E, but as much as i have seen the mounting points ar the same as CA18ET, so i hope the engine will just fit, but a bit worried about the gearbox (my old one is still in the car, the engine is out). Does anybody know will this fit :confused:

If anybody is interested i could post some more inf and fotos about what im doing in the project section.

this is in the how to section, there are a few dets on here, im sure some others will post later.

Thanks for the link, it has some info. Thou im still concerned about the gearbox (i have to use the det gearbox).
