Just fired up the car for the first time since getting before xmas. doing variuos jobs turbo gasket etc and fitting front mount i/c. I have fitted MBC but does not seem to make any different to boost only getting std 0.6/0.7 bar? Have plugged the inlet manifold relief valve tried with/without dump valve. Have only driven it to a 5000rpm in first and second but should i being getting more at this rpm.

STd exhaust at mo but back box removed. I cant take out for proper spin as no tax or mot. Just up and down my road for a few blast then back on drive so as not to annoy neighbours.

any ideas as i am aiming for my first track day of 2007 on the 2nd april and i still have a load of things to do.

What turbo you running?

std T2 mate

in addition new plugs (ngk iridium) and is a slighty lumpy on tickover but smooth at 1200 rpm onwards. could the actuator be creeking open?
