7j rims ?
 

whats the widest tyre that could be fitted to a 7j rim ? i have 235/45's on at the moment, is that its limet ?

the optimum tyre size for a 7" wide rim is generally around about 205 section but it varies a bit according to the manufactor of the tyres,personally i wouldnt go any bigger than what you have now

i thought as much, i've been searching a bit and i think the 235's are probley to big for the rim, although i've never had any trouble up to yet.

on 7j rims you wont be making proper use of the tread. Probably not any benefits in having them 235 at all over having them 225 or even 215.How do your tyres wear?

i got them part worn, well nearly new, i've done 6k and theres plenty of tread left, but i got 3 tyers for £30, so i could'nt let that deal go;) i needed some cheap tyers for the test and needed 4 so a guy with an evo let me av em cheap.:D
