H'mmmmm is that a Twin TD05 setup? the smaller turbos would give far less lag. Probablt be better for everyday driving EH Shaun

I have seen one of these in the flesh in a DR30 skyline here is Aus...But alas has taken the guy a long time to get it close to OK and its not perfect, it starts to spool at around 3300 rpm and comes on really hard and really fast..can't wait for the final tune to see what the figures are........

Looks cool

A better option would be to use a large single twin scroll turbo in my opinion.

i've just been reading the jap performance and there's an article that mentions scroll tubbys are no good for big bhp, i've got my BB tubby, it will do the job.;)

Did it say why they're not good for high power?

They're more geared towards low lag, but can't see it would cause a power issue, unless they're not available in large sizes yet.

it says at high boosts and temperatures, you get one particular port not functioning how it should.in practice, the twin entry turbo has been designed for low speed torque and tractability, but when talking big power, its not ideal.thats why WRC cars use a single entry turbo. (this is quoting owen developments in jap performance mag ). p82 april edition.
