Rubber seal replacement? Temp fix.
 

I am on the look out for some rubber tape?!?! of some description, its probably easier if I tell you what purpose its for.

On the s12 the window seal for the rear hatch has perished and I need to fix it somehow, anyone got any ideas? There is some rusted metal showing through.

I just need a temporary fix and was going to use some halfords balck sealant but that'll come out looking worse, although it would weather proof it.

Anyone had a simalar case?

speak to someone like silviagod im sure he will have a second hand boot rubber to fit your s12, rather than bodge it. there are also a few others on here that will prolly have one to fit also.
