New Exhaust For The Westfield
 

Ordered this last month from Simpson race exhausts. It came Friday :D

No rain today so took it for a test drive. Big difference over the standard Westfield exhaust. More mid range torque and top end power!

whats the spec on your engine dave ? i noticed the sbd, is it the ex vauxhall 16v engine ? andy at AMT has a xe engine and modified a pug 16v head to fit, it puts the inlet to the front and it flows its tits off, he's mapping a xe16v turbo in a nova van for totb next week, he ant built it, but i heard that its quick, its got 200bhp shot of gas as well.:D

Prob putting out around 185 BHP. The car weighs in at 595 KG

:cool: , andy @AMT has built lots of xe's, for 16v mini conversions, he usually fits the cossy ecu, they run sweet on them, he make all the cossy distrib internals fit the xe distrib, they do the looms as well,he also deals with dta and has all the mapping gear for the dta.they run well over 200bhp on thrott bods.

A mate of mine has a narrow body westfield with a 260 bhp XE in it. its the fastest and best handling thing ive been in :cool:

what does the car weight dave ? i think sbd did 260bhp engines. must be fast in something so light.

at last weigh in it was 490 kg i think 3.2 0/60. 145mph fastest recorded top end.

its got a straight cut dog box with long ratios, it does 75mph in 1st and over100 in second. he uses it as a track car but it is road legal

he is an engineer for Bentley, the engine is his own spec built by himself
