right this has been a on going problem for me for ages now when i turn my key off the petrol and battery lights stay on and sometimes the handbrake 1! i have o turn my car on and off up too 15 times to ake them go out i have no idea what causes this! i have new alternator which ive had for months no and this only started about a month ago but has got worse and worse!! plz plz help it doing my head in lol

I had exactly the same problem after fitting a new alternator that lasted for months , it went away completely after all the connections on the alternator ,earth connections on cylinder head and earth strap to engine were cleaned to bright metal with emery cloth :)
