Mint Nissan Silvia S12 From Leicester
Hi everyone I am the proud new owner of an S12 of course! I picked the car up today from a freind of mine who some of you may know, his name is FLEXXX. My silvia is totaly standard with only 37600 on the clock! it is in mint condition and I intend on keeping it that way, the car is currently on my drive way and I will be getting it serviced and mot'd this week hopefully. The car has excellent body work for its age no rust! just needs the black strips spraying and I need to replace the rubber spoiler with a fibreglass one. I have some new parts that I will be fitting to the car this includes grooved brake discs sports brake pads new suspension but I need some lowering springs which avo have unfortunately stopped producing, im hoping someone can help me with this and hook me up with some. I will be posting some pics soon as I can. I hope to bring the car to some shows and meet some of you at these events.
see you soon hopefuly |
when did they stop making the springs then? i only bought mine bout 6 or so months ago!

valley springs in chesterfield will make them to your spec, i had them make me the rears for £50.i had them 25mm so they would not scrub to side walls to much, they still have my details on computer.

I bought a set of AVO springs no more than a couple of months back, I will try and remember where I got them from . . .

MSW (MotorSportWorld) do them I believe, I was looking at them last night.

canuck motorsport (SCC/CM) still has lowering and uprated springs for S12. CM200sx on ebay (if I'm not mistaken)

S12 Progress
Hi guys
its been a while since I have been on the forum, ive been very busy at work, just wanted to let you know I had the silvia MOT'd an it only failed on the rear fog fuse and the new back box wasnt sealed properly causing to much emitions, not bas for a car thats been stood for 10 years! I had those two very minor problems sorted an the car passed second time around :) I had the car fully serviced by my mechanic and it has been running smoothly, engine seems great, well thats expexted for a rare car with only 38000 on the clock! I have just had to replace the clutch slave cylinder and have also replaced the stem valves, I am now waiting for the tension bar bushes coming from nissan and will be fixing those soon as they arrive, I will also be fitting brand new drilled and grooved brake discs and new pads at the same time. I am quite likely reluctantly going to have to sell the car in summer, as I will be travelling alot and wont be able to modify the car which was my intention :( |
