Interior Light!!!!!!
 

mine used to work, i noticed the other day it no longer does :(

i have consulted the bible and it seems i have a time control unit that does all this, the bulb is fine as the light can be switched on, but when the doors are open (both sides do same) i dont get any lights in the door panels, nor the dash light, nor the interior light, it was last seen working when i was changing my headgasket a few weeks ago.

does anyone have any ideas where this timer box is, or other thing that could be causing this, as my alarm works off this, and would rather it working.

I'd start by examining the switches are working correctly

both switches were working fine, i would hope that both switches wouldnt bugger up at the same time, but it is worth a check, and i shall have a look tomorrow :D

sounds like a fuse to me, had very similar on my s13 a couple of times

cant see it being a fuse, as the light works when you switch it on, and its a switchable earth, with permo live.

not had a chance to check anything tonight coz i had to go out.

The bible just says remove R.H. dash side cover to get to the time control unit :confused: .
It looks like it is next to the S.M.J.

hmm, after also reading the bible, im not sure my car has a timer box of tricks, as it says with it, when i close the drivers door, the interia light should delay on for a bit, then fade, like new focus's do. mine dont. so it must be a broken wire :(

lol, prolly just both bulbs blown, so long as you interior light works.... :D
