mk1 and mk2 engines
 

on removing the head on my mk1 donor car i noticed that the oil feed for the turbo is on the other side of the block from the mk2 is their any other differences in the engines ?

i think the mk2 has polly-V aux belts, thats about it really, the gearbox is slightly shorter on the mk1 i believe.

im also putting the mk1 ecu on my mk2 because it doesnt have a rev limiter ,is their anything else on a mk1 that would be worth putting on to my mk2
