Well I'm using S13 hubs and coilovers with Z32 calipers.
But I'm then using BMW M3 discs. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...i/IMG_2298.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...i/IMG_2305.jpg The kits here provides re-drilled discs (315, 330, 345mm) and brackets for use with the Z32/S14 calipers or larger wilwood calipers: http://www.db-power.co.uk/index.php?...44_210_400_401 |
cheers mart.is it the s13 track rod ends you use ? and how much needs machining off of them ?
|
They were about an inch and half too long I think. I'm using Tein ones though which are thicker, which I assume are the same length to start off with
|
do you still use the s12 arms with ball joint ? and what tie rods do you use ? other than the track rod ends is it a faifly staight forward job ?
|
Well I used 910 arms with ball joints, but yeah you'd use S12 arms.
Tie rods are standard ones. Other than the track rods, it's a bolt in job. Datsun was harder because the top's are a much different bolt pattern |
what sort of price am i looking at for s13 hubs and front coilovers ? then i suppose i have to get new wheels, could i change the rears to 5 stud ? i think i'd be looking at z31 rear arms.
|
I'd say £30 for the hubs. A complete set of coilovers will be about £250-300. There should be many available because a few people have been upgrading to the new Driftwork coilovers.
My mate is going to do 5 stud on his S12. He already has the Z31 rear. He's just slow as arseholes as actually doing anything. Of course you'd just use s14 hubs instead on the front. A simple engine change has taken 2.5 years so far. |
