quicky! dump valve & boost gauge fitting???

i've got a dump valve, i'm going to plumb the vacum pipe to the one on the bulkhead! my question is

if i can get the correct fitting can i put the dump valve on the intake manifold there the poppet valve used to be! if so has anyone else done this! cheers

also when fitting the boost gauge i just plumb that into the fuel pressure regulater vacum is that correct

cheers all its really appreciated i do apolaguise if my questions are a bit lame!

no it cant go there, it needs to be on the other side of the butterfly, i.e on the crossover pipe between the turbo, and the intake, you have to weld a pipe on it and drill a hole through to the main pipe, i think BOV's need a 1" OD pipe to connect to.

the vacum end on mine is 'T'ed into the little pipe for the fuel pressure reg.

the boost gauge can be piped anywhere after the butterfly, so i guess the same pipe for the fuel pressure reg will do, the std S12 gauge is piped off from the servo unit supply, you will see adaptor clamped to the bulkhead next to it, then the little pipe runs along the bulkhead to a box under the windscreen wiper motor down by the turbo.

hope this helps

cheers bud! i know the bit on the bulkhead you mean! arrrrh thats the standard boost gauge pipe! i'll t-pice my gauge off that & my dump valve off the fuel pressure regulator!

i think i'm with you, i got a psi gauge thats the same colour as the standard gauges so it does'nt stand out too much! i like my car to be subtle
