air flow meter

can anyone tell me is it possible to get an aftermarket standard maf for an s12 or is nissan my only bet. also does anyone know how much they cost from nissan in britain as everything is a mad inflated price here in ireland.

the early s13 is the same i think, nissan for sure, it will be dealer part and i'd say about £300 from nissan mate.

i heard the s13 one can be used but i could be wrong, i'm sure someone will correct me, or get the car running, if it runs with it take the connector off the afm, if it runs worse u know the afm is ok & the problom is somat else,

wher in ireland are u, my reli's are from mayo, off over there in march to watch the rally ireland mayo stages

s13 mafs are the same, cos i've been using 1 for the last 2 years.i dont know if thats whats causing my car to run badly on part throttle but maf's cause all sorts of running problems if they arent working right. my original 1 went wrong and caused the exact same problem so i'm guessing thats it.could be the fuel pressure reg though.i'm from dublin by the way.

Dont know anyone that's done it, but it's certainly possible with either an SAFC or a chip (in a mk2 ECU)

Oh and just to confirm, s12 AFM is identical to a non lambda s13 AFM by the way.
