Mostly is probably down to what people choose to regulalry use themselves.
I have always used castrol magnetec 10-40:) |
i use mobil 1 15-50:)
|
castrol 10/60rs:)
|
castrol rs is what i use too:)
|
the local chippie usualy gives me their used cooking oil...
works a treat..! :furious |
millers 10 60 on the ca18et or like shaun castrol rs as they both provide high temperature protection with excellent cold start characteristics.
I wouldnt go for a 5-40 personally |
Quote:
a 10w60 is proven to be unstable and breaks down to a 10w50 very quickly. with a t2 and only minor mods a 5w40 or 10w40 would be ideal, using too thick an oil and not getting into it's ideal temperature range is a good way to make your engine struggle and lose power |
I dont agree  But yes a 10-40 would be suitable
But as Adz said personal preference ;) |
