Mostly is probably down to what people choose to regulalry use themselves.

millers 10 60 on the ca18et or like shaun castrol rs as they both provide high temperature protection with excellent cold start characteristics.

I wouldnt go for a 5-40 personally

a 10w60 is proven to be unstable and breaks down to a 10w50 very quickly.

with a t2 and only minor mods a 5w40 or 10w40 would be ideal, using too thick an oil and not getting into it's ideal temperature range is a good way to make your engine struggle and lose power

PukkaSilvia 24-02-2006 01:12

I dont agree  But yes a 10-40 would be suitable

But as Adz said personal preference ;)
