afc/safc APEXI
 

i have an old single nob apexi afc it only has 4 wires, red/black/yellow/white

any idea if i can hook it up & what number i set the dial to on the back??? cheers all

my car starts as if should & needs a tuneup now so if i can hook up the safc then i can fine tune it on a rolling road!

single dial afc is about as pointless as it gets tbh. sell it and get a 5-dial at least

they trick the ecu to supply more/less fuel by way of adjusting the AFM fuel curves

i got it super cheap so i thought why not, i'd have prefered one with more dials really!!!

but i have it so i'll fit it, it should smooth things out by a tiny amount when i start putting bits on the car?

does the fit into the wire that sends info from the afm to the ecu, what pin is that on the ecu???? yellow wire go's towards the afm & white wire to the ecu, thats right is it???? inline so it intersepts the sigle, have i fgot that right?

what number do i tun the dial on that back too, some one said its the same number as the earlier skyline

is there an ecu pin-out on here i cant find one? cheers all really appreciated

does setting the dial on the back (car select) to number 7 sound right???

as for the wiring, i cant work out which number on the plug is the afm signal wire (to the ecu) the afc is just used as an interupt in the signal, my thinking is ok is'nt it?

& as the for the knob on the front, if set to 0, it should be the same as how i have the car setup now
