Hello guys i have bought a bee-r rev limiter and would like to know if and how i can hook it up to the ca18et?

And on wich wires i will have to attach it to?

Probably the coil earth I imagine. Got instructions for it?

chris1986 04-09-2009 01:23

i dont have the instal manual

but i know this:
red wire = 12v power
black wire = ground
yellow wire = rpm signal
green wire = ignition signal
white wire = handbrake

so i only need to know is where to put the yellow wire and the green wire

have seen an installation manual for an ca18det but dont think the ecu pinout is the same

I have a feeling the rpm signal is something to do with the crank angle sensor.

It looks like its done at ecu level. I'm sure with the DET instructions it can be worked out

sounds a little overcomplicated to me

from what you said sounds like this:

yellow to the +ve primary coil winding [refer to schematic for colour code]

green to acc on ignition barrell

no guarantees as theres no documents.

Sorry to bring back an old thread!

Just bought a Bee-r limiter for the S12 and was just wondering if you managed to et it sorted out or anyone else has fitted one?

Has someone got the wiring instructions for this on an S13 or S14?

http://www.driftworks.com/forum/faq-...ing-guide.html

This link from driftworks might help - the link within the thread shows the which pins of the ECU to use for an S13. This I understand just not sure if the pins are the same on the S12??

Cheers :)

This is also a link to a thread on SXOC which shows which pins to use on the ECU of an S13- hope this helps!
