Detonation sensor repair?

Hi,
I detached the wire by accident and i noticed that the det sensor plug has 2 wires but when i sliced the wire in order to weld on the pin, i only found one wire.

How to fix it?

I'm sure if you check the Factory manual that Only one wire is used and the other is to strengthen.
