Engine angle Critical??
 

Hi all

Im fitting A ca18et into my mk1 escort and i am having to mod the sump.

I want to know if i can have the engine sitting level instead of having a slant to the side as i prefer it like that.

Would i have any issues with oil fuel etc???

Only issue i can think is that your gearbox will be at a slant making the gearstick and gearbox mount angled.

Bonnet clearance is also the other thing
