s12 diff. drive shafts
 

could any one please give some info on my silvia back diff about taken off the drive shafts took off the cv joints off the road side but need to no if they pop off like front wheel drive cars or do you have to take off the heat exchange to get them off .cheers :confused:

to get them off matey, you need to undo the bolts at the hub end and disconnect the shocker and the bottom plate it sits in. The prise the inner end using a Large flat screwdriver :p

It's a bit difficult understanding what you want to do.

I think you mean you want to get the driveshafts out the diff.

The driveshafts pop out the diff, use a very big screw driver or pry bar to pop them out. You don't need to take the back plate off.
