T28 in CA18ET Fuelpressure?

Since the T25 that my gf bought was fucked, My mate gave me his spare t28

now i know ill need to fit a better fuel pump but will i need to fit a fuel pressure regulator to stop it running lean?

no, but to be sure get a temporary fuel pressure gauge on it
