pcv
i dident want the dirty oily air from the pcv hose going back thru my turbo and engine, so i blanked off the hole on the inlet pipe with a modified wheel nut, and fitted a oil catch can, an old oil container;) i cut the lid bigger than the size of the tube so the air can flow through and cable tied some stuff:p is this alright/effective:confused:
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...t/IMG_1080.jpg i need to tidy/clearout my garage:rolleyes: http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...t/IMG_1082.jpg |
that will work ok , but it's not the PCV, that's the one that comes out of the crank case and goes into the inlet manifold. Ideally you would block the PCV valve and run a hose from the crank case breather to the same catch tank

yeah i was just looking thru club-s12 and realised:p

just put a breather filter on the end where the crankcase lid is... spot on that. did that myself, you can get breather filter for next to nowt..
