got the lsd together last nite, but could not get the backlash settings right, could only get them to 2.5, so i've had to order some different size shims, 40 feckin quid for 2:( i've orderd a 2.40 and a 2.00.

What page are you referring to in the service manual? Just wanna look when i get home.

May check the one I've removed.

They may get worse with age though so it may be hard to get it perfect

PD10, martin, bottom left.

I can't be bothered to take the case apart to check.

The bit you want to be concerned with is on page PD22 and to be honest I would leave that diff as it is providing the tooth contact explained on PD22 is good.
