cam timing
 

here's a question for you, i'am fitting a new timing belt but i'am a bit :confused: it shows in the book on em-6 that the pointing arrow points to the first notch on the bottom pulley, but i'am sure that last time i set it on number 2 notch, i'am sure 30psi said to use numbur 2 notch as well if so why is this.:confused:

the drawing is not 100% accurate shaun if you count backwards from 20deg. mark then the mark shown is tdc, no2 as you count it:)

For anyone thats read this and thought WTF is shaun on about he refers to the timing marks on the bottom pulley.

There are 6 marks

From left to right:

5 ATDC, TDC, 5 BTDC, 10 BTDC, 15 BTDC, 20 BTDC

ATDC - After top dead centre
TDC - Top dead centre
BTDC - Before top dead centre

i'll sort it soon.
