Hi, who here is going to Le Mans this year?
i will be going down for the fifth year in a row this year and will be driving down in the silvia

what month is it in ?

june 17th/18th. pity it was'nt in august as i'am travelling through then.:(

yeah as s13eater said its over the 17/18th june. im travelling down on the 12th(mon) and coming back the folllowing mon (19th) to make a week of it

i've always wanted to see the group c racers:D and have talkedabout it a lot, but with having 4 children in school i have to make my holidays in the school holidays:( was you there the year the mercedes flipped over ?:eek: , i've also wanted to see part ofthe paris dakkar, my mother and her husband where in spain twice when it passed through, she sent me pics of the beach stage at castillion.:)

i'd loved to have seen the group c's, ive been the last 4 years, so - 02,03,04 and 05, so ive only ever seen an audi, or audi powered win.
its well worth doing if you get the chance, and if you cant get along to the main event, then theres also the classic le mans in july, which features 24h worth of racing from the different eras, which i am also planning to do this year.
just leave the kids at home n come along;) :rolleyes: altho once you get the bug, theres no going back...

the dakar would be awesome to see as well - i can imagine it'd be a great sight seeing all the different vehicles tearing thro the desert!
