Whats involved in fitting s13 injectors

As the title says i need to know how to fit them, iv done a lot of searches but im un sure

Can they be fitted to the std fuel rail or do i need a custom one if so where can i get the work done

Do i need a dropping resistor?

Do i need an adjustable fuel pressure reg if so what type and can some one point me in the right direction ie make model supplier etc.

Im going to be using the apexi safc 2 to make the adjustments and iv already
got a walbro, t25, exhaust, colder plugs etc

Any help would be greatly appriciated

if i remember right, the standard injectors are 8mm and the s13's are 10mm.

is the spacing the same for the s13 fuel rail?

try a search on www.club-s12.org/forums as loads of the US boys have done it with a safc-II

s13 injectors can be made to fit the standard rail. you can force the rubber connectors over the top of the injector (crude but it can be done)

its best to have a custom rail made

the s13 rail wont fit a Silvia (s13 have equal runners silvias don't)

if you have some way of controlling the injectors its prob best to use a adjustable fuel reg

you only need to add more fuel above 1bar of boost

Cheers got a safc 2 now and all the bit like injectors, both fuel rails, so ill look at whats involved, cant be too hard! the safc looks pretty easy to wire in. what type of fuel pressure reg do i need?

iv used FSE fuel regs with out problems

I had to bin my FSE reg. It wouldn't maintain stable base pressure.

So you'd be driving along, have a boot and then it would remain on high pressure.

ive got a 2nd hand fse reg on mine, and it seems to have given me a missfire once or twice, in low revs, on anything more than light throttle? also sometimes it makes the idle unsteady? so think i might bin/ebay;) it....

so what reg would you advise i get?
